EGL (European Gemological Laboratory)



All pearls and pearl jewellery purchased on Elegant Pearl can be accompanied by a detailed EGL (European Gemological Laboratory Canada) appraisal report for an additional $100.00 fee. Appraisal reports by the EGL will confirm that your purchase is indeed real pearls, should you choose to request one.  It will also provide you with a retail value of your pearl necklace for Insurance purposes.
